Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dilbert The D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michaels closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The D tries to pull guard but Michaels won't allow it.
The D has Michaels pressed against the cage.
Michaels lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Michaels manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The D tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Michaels smiles and moves away.
Michaels tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The D swivels and escapes. The D tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The D shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Michaels but Michaels pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dilbert The D. That's going to take a lot out of him. The D fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Michaels instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michaels has The D pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Michaels pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending The D tumbling to the mat - Michaels dives into The D's guard. The D is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Michaels wants to stand and escape but instead The D has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The D stops Michaels from standing up. The D will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Michaels trying to control the position.
The D thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The D sitting in guard, not really doing much. The D wants to control from the top but Michaels keeps moving. Michaels being controlled here, momentarily. The D passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with The D in particular looking to stall. The D is looking to take a break and control but Michaels is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Michaels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The D. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The D passes into side control, despite Michaels's attempt to control the position.
Michaels prevents The D from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The D remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The D stands up and beckons Michaels to his feet. Michaels tries for a takedown but The D circles away easily and The D counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The D is breathing heavily. The D is tying to control. Michaels wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The D has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The D moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Michaels has worked his arm free - good work by Michaels!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dilbert The D dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Michaels drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The D prevents Michaels from improving position. Michaels should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. You can see the frustration on The D's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Michaels is looking to take a break and control but The D is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The D manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The D gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now The D is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The D pushes down on Michaels's leg and manages to get into half guard. The D trying to control from half guard but Michaels is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Michaels tries to get to full guard but The D has control of the leg. The fighters are battling for position here. Michaels manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Michaels throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The D trying to control but Michaels is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Dilbert The D just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. The D darts in trying to clinch and Michaels counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in The D's guard now. The D had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Michaels is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The D Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Michaels's back instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Michaels trying to control the hands but The D won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Michaels trying to survive by controlling the hands. The D is hanging on to Michaels's back as he tries to escape.
Michaels looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The D has the hooks in. Michaels is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Michaels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
A low kick from The D misses and Michaels counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Dilbert The D is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The D scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Michaels is looking for a sweep. The D has hold of Michaels's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Michaels seems comfortable defending it but The D has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Michaels is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Michaels is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but The D couldn't care less - he's delighted!
