Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Rudolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Rudolph looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Rudolph!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudolph misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rudolph looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Beast decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Beast throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rudolph is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Beast scores with a couple of nice shots.

Beast decides to stand and escape the position.

Beast is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Rudolph is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Beast wants to free his trapped foot but Rudolph is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Beast looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rudolph with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rudolph is in trouble now - Beast has advanced to mount!

Beast fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rudolph takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Beast has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rudolph's face.

BOOM! Beast connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Beast cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Rudolph that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Beast breaks from Rudolph's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Beast fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rudolph can't escape the position.
Beast trying to control but Rudolph is having none of it.
Beast controlling from the full mount.
Rudolph is bucking up trying to escape but Beast cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Beast takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Beast seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rudolph for as long as he can get away with.

Beast cracks Rudolph with a big right hand but Rudolph just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The Beast overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
