Van Hall has chosen Nico Vega - Beast as his entrance music. Ruud Van Hall has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Piero Vischi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruud Van Hall!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Hall moves out of range of the strikes.
A swing and a miss from Vischi.
Van Hall motions for Vischi to come forward. Van Hall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vischi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Ruud Van Hall has been cut.
Van Hall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Van Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vischi.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Van Hall!


It looks like Piero Vischi has been cut.
Vischi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Piero Vischi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vischi tries to land a front kick but Van Hall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Vischi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Van Hall. That did some damage!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vischi throws a sloppy head kick and Van Hall moves out of range easily.
Vischi looks to land a combination but Van Hall avoids it well.

Vischi misses with a body kick.

Vischi closes the distance and clinches.

A short body shot lands from Vischi as the two fighters clinch.
Vischi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Van Hall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vischi chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A nice right hand lands inside from Vischi.
Vischi stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Van Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Van Hall misses with a body shot.

Vischi darts in and clinches Van Hall up against the ropes.
Vischi presses Van Hall against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Vischi lands a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vischi lands an uppercut.

Van Hall blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A body shot lands from Vischi.
Vischi lands a knee to the body.
Van Hall looks winded!
A left hand lands to the body for Vischi.

Vischi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vischi. That's going to slow Van Hall down.

Van Hall walks forward, straight into a front kick from Vischi.

Vischi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Vischi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vischi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Van Hall if he has to take too many more of those.

Van Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vischi connects with an inside leg kick.

Vischi rushes Van Hall and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Vischi lands a hook that snaps the head of Van Hall backwards.
Vischi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Vischi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Van Hall backwards.
Vischi misses with a knee strike.

Vischi manages to break the clinch.
Van Hall takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
An inside leg kick from Vischi misses.
Van Hall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vischi counters with a solid body kick.
Vischi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vischi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Van Hall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Vischi rushes Van Hall and presses him up against the ropes.
Vischi lands with a left to the head.
Vischi lands a good knee to the midsection. Van Hall won't want to take too many of those.

Vischi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good exchange - Vischi coming out on top.


That has opened up Ruud Van Hall's cut even more.
Vischi scores with a head kick. Van Hall tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Vischi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


Van Hall is rocked!


The cut above Ruud Van Hall's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vischi tries to clinch but Van Hall is having none of it.
Van Hall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piero Vischi dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Vischi has managed to clinch.
Vischi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Van Hall blocks it with crossed arms.

Van Hall is looking to break free of the clinch but Vischi has double underhooks.
Vischi misses with a punch to the body.

Vischi working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Vischi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Van Hall can do to turn this around?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ruud Van Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Van Hall moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Van Hall takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Vischi delivers a nice body kick.
Vischi cracks the inside of Van Hall's front leg.
Vischi tries a head kick but it misses.

Vischi lands with a nice combination. Van Hall backs away looking to recover.


Ruud Van Hall's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Piero Vischi is winning the standup battle so far.
A lazy left from Vischi finds it's target.
Vischi cracks the inside of Van Hall's front leg.

Van Hall tries to keep at a distance but Vischi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vischi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Vischi misses with a punch to the body.
Vischi lands a hook that snaps the head of Van Hall backwards.
Van Hall prevents a body shot from Vischi.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Vischi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ruud Van Hall's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Piero Vischi!
Piero Vischi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
