Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Dungy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fontana has chosen Classic Girl as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Melvin Dungy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dungy lands a left and a right that sends Fontana crashing to the canvas! Dungy dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Jack Fontana has been cut.
Fontana tries to hold on but Dungy postures up.
Dungy throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Dungy working for a guillotine from mount but Fontana is in no mood to give up.
Dungy wants to control the pace but Fontana is squirming around nicely.
Fontana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dungy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fontana somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Fontana fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dungy swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Dungy.
Dungy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fontana.

Dungy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fontana paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dungy misses with a series of wild punches.
Dungy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dungy misses with a straight right.
No joy there for Dungy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dungy wants to clinch up but Fontana keeps it at a distance.
Dungy throws a sloppy head kick and Fontana moves out of range easily.
Fontana moves out of range as Dungy throws a body kick.
Melvin Dungy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fontana explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Dungy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fontana misses with a body kick.
Dungy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dungy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fontana lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fontana tries to clinch but Dungy moves out of range.

Dungy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dungy is breathing heavily.
Dungy has control of an arm but Fontana manages to advance to Dungy's back!
Fontana tries to escape but Dungy has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Fontana trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Fontana breaks Dungy's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dungy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fontana has passed into side control.
Dungy is trying to get back to half guard.
Fontana looking to control but instead Dungy has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Fontana wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Dungy uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dungy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fontana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fontana shoots for a takedown but Dungy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dungy gets control of Fontana's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dungy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fontana is looking to improve his position but Dungy isn't that keen on the idea.

Fontana wants to try and get back to his feet.
Dungy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fontana in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fontana to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
