Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Kawajiri has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boyka is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Boyka is rocked!
Kawajiri cracks Boyka with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Boyka tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kawajiri pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Boyka is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
