Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tikuana St Regis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpatrick has chosen Nightcall as his entrance music. Tikuana St Regis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tikuana St Regis !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Kilpatrick!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpatrick throws a series of punches but St Regis moves out of range.
Kilpatrick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kilpatrick throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kilpatrick has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kilpatrick looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kilpatrick with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Kilpatrick successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

St Regis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kilpatrick is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kilpatrick has escaped and now he's on top!

St Regis is looking for a triangle but Kilpatrick pushes his legs off easily.

St Regis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kilpatrick defends well.
St Regis tries to strike from the bottom.

Kilpatrick postures up.
Kilpatrick controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kilpatrick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. St Regis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

St Regis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kilpatrick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

St Regis throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
St Regis misses with an elbow from the bottom.

St Regis struggling a bit here.
St Regis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
St Regis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Kilpatrick tries to stand and escape but St Regis is controlling the position.

St Regis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
St Regis scores with a few weak punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kilpatrick wants to take a breather but St Regis is having none of it.
St Regis tries to roll over but Kilpatrick keeps him under control.

St Regis looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kilpatrick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kilpatrick is looking to advance position but St Regis won't allow it.
Kilpatrick wants to get back to his feet.
St Regis tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kilpatrick has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
St Regis regains half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kilpatrick lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
St Regis throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
St Regis punching from the bottom.

St Regis looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kilpatrick tries to pass to full mount but St Regis defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tikuana St Regis will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Kilpatrick moves into the clinch successfully.
St Regis is looking to take this one to the mat.

Kilpatrick is trying to trip St Regis . He has hold of a leg but St Regis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kilpatrick persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kilpatrick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

St Regis working for a triangle but Kilpatrick defends it easily.
Kilpatrick looking to sit in guard and control but St Regis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kilpatrick wants to sweep but no luck.
St Regis scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kilpatrick can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilpatrick has momentary wrist control but St Regis slips an elbow through the middle.
St Regis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
St Regis wants to control from the top but Kilpatrick keeps moving.

St Regis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kilpatrick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, St Regis has managed to get both his arms back between Kilpatrick's legs - danger averted.
St Regis landing with the ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells St Regis 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
St Regis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
St Regis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kilpatrick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
St Regis is looking to work some ground and pound but Kilpatrick has wrist control.

St Regis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

St Regis has gone for a leg lock! Kilpatrick slips out almost immediately though and dives into St Regis 's guard.

Kilpatrick is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but St Regis has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kilpatrick is looking to defend but St Regis has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kilpatrick! St Regis pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kilpatrick taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tikuana St Regis !
A relieved looking Tikuana St Regis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Adam Kilpatrick had this to say: 'a dog knows when hes lost congratulations'.
