Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Coll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vincent Coll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robert Lundin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundin just misses with a punch to the body.
Lundin with a jab.
Coll throws a front kick aimed at Lundin's knee but Lundin avoids it well.
Coll moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Coll throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lundin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Coll throws a sloppy head kick and Lundin moves out of range easily.
Lundin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Coll wants to clinch but Lundin slips to the side

and Lundin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lundin winds up and cracks Coll with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Lundin drops back looking for a leg! Coll is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coll manages to kick Lundin off! Lundin jumps back into Coll's guard.
Lundin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've been informed that Lundin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Lundin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Coll feints and then cracks Lundin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lundin down.
Coll looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Lundin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Lundin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coll is fending him off so far but Lundin persists. Nope, Coll circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Robert Lundin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lundin is trying to drag Coll to the mat but Coll just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Coll throws a knee to the head but misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Lundin tries to pull guard but Coll holds him up against the cage and eventually Lundin drops back down to his feet.
Coll prevents the takedown attempt.
Coll trying to control the position but instead, Lundin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Coll into the cage.

Lundin pulls guard effortlessly.

Lundin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Coll is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lundin.
Lundin throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Coll wants to control but Lundin is keeping him busy.
Lundin gets back to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lundin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Lundin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Coll lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Coll tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lundin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lundin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coll tries to avoid it but Lundin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coll to the ground. Coll escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lundin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Coll.
Lundin throws a leg kick which misses Coll's front leg but catches the back leg as Coll tries to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coll is staying active underneath Lundin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lundin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

I think Lundin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
