Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nadi Tsunami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remo WIlliams Theme. This should be a great matchup!

23 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Master Chuin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nadi Tsunami! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chuin misses with a hook. Chuin dodges the punch combination from Tsunami.
Tsunami closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chuin to the mat! Chuin manages to get full guard. Chuin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tsunami is aware though and is defending well. Chuin pulls Tsunami in close to prevent any damage. Tsunami trying to control the position from guard on top but Chuin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tsunami stopping the sweep attempt from Chuin. Tsunami looking to pass the guard. Tsunami avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tsunami is looking to work some ground and pound but Chuin has wrist control. Chuin keeping moving, preventing Tsunami from controlling successfully. OK we're going to have a standup here. Nadi Tsunami hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Tsunami gets a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Tsunami.
Tsunami works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Chuin looking for a sweep. Not yet Chuin, not yet. Chuin is working hard here to advance position. Tsunami wants to pass the guard but Chuin is keeping the position. Chuin is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Montreal Elite Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsunami controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tsunami postures up.
Tsunami gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chuin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chuin shoots and misses and Tsunami counters with a lovely shot to the body. A jab from Tsunami finds it's way through Chuin's defenses.
It looks like Master Chuin has been cut. Chuin shoots in for a double leg but Tsunami sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Chuin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chuin dives in for a single leg takedown but Tsunami sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Chuin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chuin wants a takedown but no success here.
Chuin is breathing heavily. Tsunami breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsunami misses with a double jab
and Chuin counters with a head kick. Chuin fails to land the takedown. Tsunami misses with a body kick. Tsunami throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tsunami fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chuin, pushing him back against the cage. Tsunami has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chuin uses from the top position. Chuin wants to control from the top but Tsunami keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Chuin passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tsunami manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Tsunami is looking for a sweep. Chuin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsunami is pressing down on Chuin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chuin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chuin looking to sit in guard and control but Tsunami gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. This has been an exciting period of action! Tsunami content to stall in guard here. Tsunami pushes down on Chuin's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chuin gets full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tsunami pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chuin is keeping the position for now. Tsunami works a leg free and moves into half guard. Chuin tries to get to full guard but Tsunami has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nadi Tsunami dominated that round. The cut man is working on Master Chuin's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tsunami tries to sprawl but Chuin drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tsunami has his hands clasped together around Chuin's back. He's all about the action. Tsunami manages to get to full guard.

Chuin tries to free his leg and advance position but Tsunami is retaining full guard. Chuin trying to control but Tsunami is working from the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tsunami drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chuin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tsunami is one step ahead there. Tsunami gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Chuin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tsunami as he avoids it easily. Nadi Tsunami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsunami shoots in and gets a takedown into Chuin's guard. Chuin is trying to keep Tsunami in close.
Tsunami wants to control from the top but Chuin keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chuin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chuin can't keep his opponent in guard - Tsunami advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tsunami is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chuin is just riding it out for now. Tsunami eventually gives up the hold. Chuin trying to control from the bottom.
Chuin looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chuin is staying active underneath Tsunami, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsunami wants to pass to mount but Chuin is defending the position. Tsunami is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chuin defends it well. Chuin is defending against the submission attempts here by Tsunami.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsunami wants to pass to mount but Chuin is defending the position. Tsunami tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Chuin. Chuin tries to get to full guard but Tsunami has control of the leg. Tsunami wants to take a breather but Chuin is having none of it. Chuin is trying to control but can't.
Tsunami scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tsunami prevents Chuin from improving his position. Tsunami stalling away here and it's allowed Chuin to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tsunami controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Chuin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tsunami should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chuin has tightened it up now! Tsunami should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Master Chuin! As Master Chuin got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Karate, Kung Fu, Ninjitsu... They are all but shadows! Sinanju is the sun.'.
