Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Buflienko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden August (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
August circles away from the clinch attempt
and August counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Ivan Buflienko has been cut.
Buflienko tries to clinch there but August circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
August keeps the fight on the outside.
August fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Buflienko on the side of the head.
Buflienko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. August manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Buflienko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
August lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by August.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
August scores with a punch to the head.
August closes the distance and clinches up with Buflienko, looking for a takedown. August pushes Buflienko against the cage but Buflienko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buflienko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
August scores with a jab to the head.
Buflienko forces August back against the cage and clinches.
August effectively controlling the action here.
Buflienko lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Buflienko scores with a nice short uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Buflienko digs a right hand into August's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on August's gas tank.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buflienko lands a hook that snaps the head of August backwards.
August wants to stall.
Buflienko tries to land a knee to the head but August blocks with his arms.
Buflienko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Buflienko takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
August fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buflienko to the ground. August is now in Buflienko's guard.
August trying to control but Buflienko is working from the bottom.
August stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buflienko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Buflienko wants to stand up but August is controlling him.
August loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
August forces his way into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
August scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

August is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
August has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
August looking to finish Buflienko with some ground and pound. This is bad for Buflienko!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buflienko is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

August lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
August looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The referee warns Buflienko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
August has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at [CBK] Punch-kicker Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

August lands a big shot to the head and Buflienko winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

After winning the bout, Aiden August thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
