The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Eye misses
and Simmons counters with a body kick.
Eye throws a sloppy head kick
and Simmons counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Eye's guard now.
Simmons keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Eye's head.
Simmons postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Eye really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simmons. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
