Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Risto Haeyhae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haeyhae comes to the cage accompanied by Morbid Angel - Where the Slime Live. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida lands a nice shot that snaps Haeyhae's head back.
Haeyhae tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Machida defends well and Haeyhae ends up having to push Machida into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Haeyhae fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Machida breaks from the clinch.
Machida thows a left - swing and a miss!
A nice combination there by Machida.
Risto Haeyhae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haeyhae drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Haeyhae tries to free his leg and advance position but Machida is retaining full guard.
Haeyhae is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haeyhae. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haeyhae sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Machida's guard.
Machida wants to get back to his feet.
Haeyhae looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Haeyhae has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Machida is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Haeyhae yanks on the arm and Machida is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Haeyhae.
