Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Werkka Easterlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demolition Man Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Easterlund comes to the cage accompanied by Harbinger of Sorrow. Werkka Easterlund has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Randy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Randy throwing strikes but missing.
Easterlund will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Easterlund utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Randy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Easterlund wants to stand but Randy is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randy postures up in Easterlund's guard and throws a big left but Easterlund blocks it.

Easterlund has his foot on Randy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Randy works his way back into a safe position though.

Easterlund manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Randy manages to get himself to full guard.
Randy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Randy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Randy connects with a nice short shot to Easterlund's temple.

Easterlund is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Randy pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Randy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Easterlund is trying to stand up here but Randy is controlling him well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Easterlund is on top in guard.
Easterlund has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Randy is proving hard to escape from.
Randy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Easterlund takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Randy's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
