The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Vazquez scores with a takedown into Saeldur's guard.
Saeldur is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Saeldur working a defensive guard but Vazquez passes into half guard.
Saeldur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Saeldur is trying is best to control the position here.

Vazquez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Saeldur wants to control but Vazquez is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Vazquez seems to be working for a kimura but Saeldur defends the submission attempt.

Saeldur is looking to improve his position.

Vazquez is working for a submission of some sort.
Saeldur has a hand on Vazquez's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Vazquez takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Vazquez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Saeldur manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Vazquez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Vazquez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Saeldur looks calm but he's in trouble here. Vazquez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Saeldur is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Vazquez lets go of the hold and Saeldur can pop his arm back in it's socket.
