Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Silver acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnathon Bradshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Silver!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silver drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bradshaw trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Silver engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
It looks like Silver might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Silver hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bradshaw tries to clinch but Silver moves away

and Silver counters by moving into the clinch.

Silver pulls guard.
Bradshaw wants to get up but he can't break Silver's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradshaw with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradshaw throws an elbow that misses. Silver uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bradshaw's guard. Nice move by Silver!

Bradshaw looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Silver passes into half guard.
Silver keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Bradshaw wants to get back to full guard.
Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Silver takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Silver decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Silver has his takedown stuffed
and Bradshaw counters with a head kick. That will keep Silver thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bradshaw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Silver has managed to clinch.
Silver goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bradshaw prevents it.
Silver changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bradshaw fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Johnathon Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Silver.

Silver has Bradshaw up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Silver has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bradshaw is trying to keep an underhook but Silver manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silver content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Silver blocks the strikes from Bradshaw.

Well, if Silver is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bradshaw tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Silver performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Silver wasn't active enough on the ground.

A head kick misses from Bradshaw.
Bradshaw could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Silver pulls out of a head kick attempt.
John Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silver moves into the clinch.

Silver turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silver manages to end up in side control.
Bradshaw tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silver works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silver looking to control but instead Bradshaw has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silver is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Silver dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bradshaw stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradshaw wants it to stay on the feet.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bradshaw paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bradshaw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silver somewhat.

Silver has closed the distance and engaged Bradshaw in a clinch.

Silver pulls guard effortlessly.
Bradshaw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bradshaw throws a strike but Silver rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silver slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Silver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Silver showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Bradshaw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silver can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bradshaw's guard.

Silver controlling the action here.
Silver wants to control but Bradshaw is keeping him busy.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silver works his way into side control.

Silver stands up and beckons Bradshaw to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silver leaves Bradshaw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silver looks for a takedown but Bradshaw sprawls well.
Johnathon Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Silver.
Bradshaw moves in looking to clinch but Silver pushes him off.
Silver keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bradshaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Silver. Silver gets slowly back to his feet.

Bradshaw fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bradshaw throws the kick towards the body but Silver avoids it.
Silver tries a low kick but Bradshaw avoids it.
Silver shoots in looking for a takedown. Bradshaw tries to sprawl out of it but Silver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bradshaw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silver misses with a takedown
and Bradshaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Silver is breathing heavily.

Bradshaw shoots in and bounces Silver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silver is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Silver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Silver pulls Bradshaw into guard.

Silver has his foot on Bradshaw's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bradshaw works his way back into a safe position though.
Silver is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bradshaw is controlling him.
John Silver has got the better of the ground game so far.
Silver bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bradshaw's guard.

Silver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bradshaw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silver has managed to get both his arms back between Bradshaw's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by John Silver.
Bradshaw plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Silver decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Silver is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Well, if Silver is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silver tries to stand and escape but Bradshaw actually recovers to full guard.
Silver is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Silver works over Bradshaw with some ground and pound from guard.
Silver wants to control from the top but Bradshaw keeps moving.

Bradshaw looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silver has picked Bradshaw up and slammed him! Bradshaw can't keep hold of the triangle and Silver manages to pass to side control!
Bradshaw takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silver takes a little break here. Bradshaw wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
John Silver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
