Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DIE LIKE A ROCKSTAR. Duggan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger. Danny Brown had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dean Duggan! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Duggan tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duggan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duggan circles away quickly and effectively. Brown looks for a takedown but Duggan sprawls well. Brown defending well as Duggan loads up on a big left hand. Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duggan throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Duggan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duggan but Duggan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Duggan tried to score with a low kick but Brown checks it. Brown lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. An inside leg kick from Duggan misses. Brown has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Duggan. This has been an exciting period of action! Duggan lands with a straight right. Brown didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Duggan.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duggan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Brown shoots and misses and Duggan counters with a good low kick that Brown was not able to check. Duggan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duggan wants it to stay on the feet. Brown is breathing heavily. Duggan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brown if he has to take too many more of those.
Duggan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away. Dean Duggan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duggan dips to his left and cracks Brown with an uppercut! Brown walks into a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown and Duggan counters with a nice uppercut. Duggan drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.

Duggan tries to throw a body punch but Brown avoids it by throwing Duggan back against the cage. Duggan misses with a body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brown.
Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but Duggan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Duggan connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Brown! He's out on his feet! Duggan rushes in and drops Brown with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dean Duggan! During a confident post fight interview, Dean Duggan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
