PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Guerilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine. Armstrong has chosen Iron Man by Black Sabbath as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Armstrong.
Armstrong throws a hook to the side of White's head but White sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Armstrong's coach down at Valhalla:NY GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Armstrong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

White looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Well Armstrong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
