Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pinkynho Romeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin Lyle struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 41 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pinkynho Romeiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Austin Lyle! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romeiro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Romeiro's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lyle under the eye. Romeiro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lyle. Lyle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lyle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lyle is rocked! Romeiro cracks Lyle on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lyle falls backwards against the cage. Romeiro follows up with more strikes that drop Lyle to his knees. Romeiro keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lyle! This one is all over!
