Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Koff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob Koff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aaron Parsons!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koff throws a head kick that misses.
Koff tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parsons defends well and Koff ends up having to push Parsons into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Parsons wants to break free but Koff has control.
Parsons gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Koff.
Koff is trying to drag Parsons to the mat but Parsons just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Koff. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parsons breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koff shoots in looking for a takedown but Parsons manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koff's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Koff shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Koff seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Parsons is defending against the submission attempts here by Koff.
Parsons tries to kick Koff off but Koff keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Koff is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Parsons sees it coming and defends easily.

Koff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Parsons doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Koff.

Still in half guard, Koff seems content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koff is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Parsons as he works his way to full guard.

Parsons wants to stand up but Koff is controlling him.
Koff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parsons swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Koff stops Parsons from standing up.
Koff wants to control from the top but Parsons keeps moving.
Koff is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parsons is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bob Koff has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Parsons gets caught flat footed, as Koff shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Koff slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Koff slips nicely into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koff dives in and grabs Parsons's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parsons pushes down on Koff's head and hops out.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Koff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Parsons tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Koff is in Parsons's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Parsons manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parsons wants to get back to his feet.
Koff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parsons keeps working.

Koff is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Koff perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Parsons keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parsons is looking to escape.

Koff is trying to control the action in half guard but Parsons is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bob Koff is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Koff looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Parsons is trying to stand up here but Koff is controlling him well.

We're going to have a standup here because Bob Koff wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Koff gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parsons counters with a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Koff closes the distance and clinches up with Parsons, looking for a takedown. Koff pushes Parsons against the cage but Parsons circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aaron Parsons has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Koff, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
