The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade throws a head kick that misses.
Manel throws a leg kick but Blade sees it coming and moves out of range.
Manel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blade sprawls well. Blade wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Manel gets slowly back to his feet.
Manel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Blade defends well and Manel ends up having to push Blade into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Manel has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Blade avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Eric Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Manel.

Manel shoots in for a takedown but Blade shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Blade cracks Manel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Manel looks for a takedown but Blade sprawls well.
Manel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blade as he avoids it easily.
Blade throws out a loose jab but Manel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blade's corner calls for a 1-2. Blade obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blade throws a big shot that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blade goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Blade listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Blade swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eric Blade will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Blade thuds a left hand into Manel's body.
Manel ducks under a wild hook from Blade.
Manel fails with a takedown attempt.
Manel shoots for a double leg takedown but Blade sprawls well. He's pushed Manel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Blade loads up on a big right hand but Manel slips the punch.
Blade scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Manel doesn't seem bothered though.
Blade throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Manel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Manel is breathing heavily.

Blade connects with a leg kick. Manel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A chopping leg kick lands by Blade.
Blade fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Blade misses with a wild combination.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Blade lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Blade scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Manel fails with the takedown
and Blade counters with an inside leg kick.
Blade drops Manel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Manel looks back up at him and smiles so Blade waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Manel is rocked!
Manel sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Manel is still on wobbly legs! Can Blade finish him?
Blade lands with a thumping leg kick.

Blade cracks Manel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Blade has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Manel to stand back up!
Eric Blade is winning the standup battle so far.
Blade throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Manel has a takedown stuffed.
Blade closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Manel out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Blade!
During a confident post fight interview, Eric Blade thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
