Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Busch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Gordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Busch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Gordan! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Busch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gordan avoids the body shot from Busch.
Gordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Busch misses. Busch slips a jab and a cross from Gordan.
Jay Gordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Busch jabbing away but nothing is landing. A punch lands to the side of Gordan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Busch thows a body shot but no joy. Busch takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gordan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Busch shoots in but Gordan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gordan throws a combination that misses and Busch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Busch just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Busch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Busch throws a looping overhand right but Gordan ducks down to avoid it. Gordan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Busch counters with a nice uppercut. Gordan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Busch. Busch circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A punch combination from Gordan misses. Gordan lands a jab-cross combination. Gordan throws a right and a left that both miss. Gordan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordan throws a nice looking combination but Busch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Busch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gordan as he avoids it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Busch looks for a takedown but Gordan sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Busch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gordan getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Busch throws a combination that misses and Gordan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Gordan misses with a double jab
and Busch counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Gordan kicks Busch off and gets back to his feet. Busch misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gordan throws a combination that misses and Busch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gordan won't be happy with that. Gordan tries to improve position but can't. Gordan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Gordan looks gassed! Busch trying to control the action but Gordan is working from the bottom. Gordan tries to escape but Busch is in control. Gordan is looking to regain half guard here but Busch keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gordan tries to escape but Busch is in control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. It's a brutal combination of punches from Busch! Gordan is backing up but he can't get away as Busch lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gordan and ends the fight. Great knockout.
