Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakim The Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and God Zilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zilla is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Your arms feel like home.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Master lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zilla circles away quickly and effectively.
The Master scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The Master has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The Master wants to stand but Zilla has his arm trapped.
Zilla tries to bench press The Master off him but The Master keeps the position.

Zilla feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A looping hook to the body misses from The Master. Zilla does a little dance to reset his feet.
The Master throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zilla was covering up waiting for the punch and The Master finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Zilla is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The Master shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zilla manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zilla isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. The Master stacks Zilla on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by The Master!

Zilla goes for a double leg but The Master avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as The Master continues to drive forward.

Zilla tries to land knees in the clinch but The Master avoids the damage to the body.

Zilla drops back looking for a leg! The Master is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and The Master manages to kick Zilla off! Zilla jumps back into The Master's guard.

Well The Master has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
