Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Kong Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tank Abbot!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Dong. No joy for Abbot on that attempt.
A big left from Dong misses.
Abbot looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dong scores with a shot to the body.
Abbot tries to land a front kick but Dong steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Abbot throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Abbot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Abbot.
Abbot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dong but Dong pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Abbot avoids the body shot from Dong.
Dong digs a good hook to Abbot's body.
Dong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dong throws a big shot that misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Dong misses the target.
Abbot fails with a takedown attempt.
King Kong Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tank Abbot.
Dong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Dong scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Tank Abbot has been cut.
Dong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dong ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dong slaps away a takedown attempt from Abbot, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dong. Abbot does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Abbot throws a sloppy head kick and Dong moves out of range easily.
Abbot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dong.
Abbot lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dong takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dong tests Abbot's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Abbot.
Dong bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Abbot's head.

Dong looks to score with a jab to the body but Abbot is just out of range.
Abbot misses with a takedown attempt - Dong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A head kick misses from Abbot.
Dong lands with a straight right. Abbot didn't see that one coming.
Horrible takedown attempt by Abbot or perhaps it was just good defense by Dong, which made it look bad.
Dong lands with a nice combination. Abbot backs away looking to recover.
Abbot takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Abbot looks winded!
Dong throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Abbot lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dong circles away quickly and effectively.
Abbot is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dong is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Abbot.
Dong throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abbot gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


That has opened up Tank Abbot's cut even more.
Dong lands a slapping body shot.

Dong lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Abbot at a distance.
Dong throws a shot from downtown. Abbot moves away and avoids it.
Abbot ducks under a wild hook from Dong.
A slow jab from Dong misses its intended target.
Dong throws a hook to the side of Abbot's head but Abbot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dong connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dong fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Dong drops Abbot with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Abbot looks back up at him and smiles so Dong waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Abbot is rocked!
Dong darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Abbot's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Dong before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Kong Dong!
In his post fight interview, King Kong Dong gave a big smile as he said 'I guess sucking off the guy making the predictions doesn't help you win the actual fight!!!!'.
