The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ray throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ray slips a straight right by Ryan.
Ryan slips a jab and a cross from Ray.
Ray has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ryan is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ryan misses the shot to the body.
Ray lands a head kick!
Ryan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ryan sends Ray crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ryan is motioning to the referee to let Ray up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ray is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A swing and a miss from Ray.
Ray moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ryan lands a nice hook to Ray's body. Ray takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ray throws the left hand but Ryan avoids the punch easily.
Ryan blocks a leg kick.
Ray lands with a nice combination. Ryan backs away looking to recover.
Ray slips under a jab.
Ryan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ray.
Ryan lands a big uppercut and Ray crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ray looks OK. Ryan waves Ray back to his feet!
Ray is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryan finish him?
Ray misses with a wild combination.
Ray misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ray lands with a slapping head kick.
Ray seems to have recovered his senses.
Ryan misses the shot to the body.
Ray lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ray misses with a wild body shot.
Ray tries a head kick but it misses.
Ryan sends Ray crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ryan is motioning to the referee to let Ray up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ray looks winded!
Ray throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily.
Ryan throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ray clean off his feet! He's out cold! Ryan stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Ryan!
