Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hakbar Shamuli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naya Shinoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Shinoki 's choice of entrance music: wadiako. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakbar Shamuli! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naya Shinoki ! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamuli avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shinoki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shamuli manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Shinoki wants to control from the top but Shamuli keeps moving. Shinoki looking to pass the guard. Shinoki won't allow Shamuli to get back to his feet. Shamuli avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Shinoki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shamuli wants to stand up but Shinoki is controlling him. Shinoki is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Shinoki trying to control but Shamuli is working from the bottom. Shinoki engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Naya Shinoki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Shinoki tries to close the distance and clinch but Shamuli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shinoki tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Shamuli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shamuli misses with a takedown attempt - Shinoki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Shamuli gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shinoki to score an easy takedown into full guard. Shinoki throws a big right hand that misses. Shinoki wants to control from the top but Shamuli keeps moving. Shinoki loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shinoki is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Shinoki won't allow Shamuli to get back to his feet. Shamuli being controlled here, momentarily. Shamuli is looking to stand up but Shinoki isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinoki trying to control but Shamuli is working from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Shinoki tries to clinch but Shamuli is having none of it. Shamuli slaps away a takedown attempt from Shinoki , before circling back to the center of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shinoki has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shamuli is trying to keep an underhook but Shinoki manages to get the takedown into half guard. Shamuli is trying to stand up here but Shinoki is controlling him well. That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamuli might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shamuli is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Shinoki trying to control but Shamuli is having none of it. Shamuli defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Shinoki . Shinoki trying to control but he's not successful this time. Shinoki raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shamuli is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Shinoki wants to control the pace but Shamuli is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naya Shinoki dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

He's pushed Shamuli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Shamuli gets tackled into the ropes by Shinoki . Shinoki maintains the clinch. Shinoki wants a takedown.

Hakbar Shamuli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naya Shinoki . Shinoki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shinoki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shamuli to the mat! Shamuli manages to get full guard. Naya Shinoki has got the better of the ground game so far. Shinoki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shinoki passes into half guard. Shinoki is pressing down on Shamuli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shamuli is holding on for now. Shamuli on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shamuli tries to get out of the position.

Shinoki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Shamuli defending well though. Shamuli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Shamuli pushes Shinoki off looking to stand but Shinoki dives back in and keeps control.

He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Shamuli! Shinoki trying to control but Shamuli is having none of it. Shinoki working for a submission but Shamuli is keeping him at bay. Shamuli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shinoki on the ground. Shinoki jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Shamuli manages to avoid the submission attempt. Shamuli is trying to get back to his feet. Shamuli takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Shamuli is not content to let Shinoki control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shinoki has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Shamuli! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naya Shinoki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from Shamuli. No joy for Shinoki on that attempt. Shinoki stuffs the takedown. Shamuli fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Shinoki shoots in for a takedown. Shinoki is fighting it off but Shamuli persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Shinoki 's guard against the ropes. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Shamuli keeps the fight on the outside. Shamuli shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shinoki as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hakbar Shamuli. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shinoki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shamuli napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Shamuli pushes Shinoki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Shinoki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Shinoki tries for a kimura. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Shinoki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shamuli keeps working. Shamuli is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shinoki asserts his dominance and retains side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shamuli is looking to get back to his feet here but Shinoki is keeping cool and he's managed to take Shamuli's back. Shamuli is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Shinoki .
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinoki has managed to slip his arm under Shamuli's chin. This could be all over... yep, Shamuli is tapping out! Submission win for Shinoki .

Jumping up and down and very excited, Naya Shinoki waved his t-shirt featuring Kemists ↑ 5x160Q's logo in front of the cameras. The defeated Hakbar Shamuli had this to say: 'Needa Practice More'.
