The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldbridge lands with an overhand left.
Aldbridge stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mathiesen takes one to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aldbridge scores with a nice head shot.
Mathiesen throws a head kick that Aldbridge semi-blocks.
Aldbridge misses with a two punch combination.
Mathiesen rushes Aldbridge and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mathiesen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mathiesen can't get the takedown.
Mathiesen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Aldbridge backwards.

Aldbridge wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Aldbridge lands a nice hook to Mathiesen's body. Mathiesen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Aldbridge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aldbridge lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Mathiesen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Aldbridge and Mathiesen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Aldbridge.
