Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Prower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marki Sakurach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Prower! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marki Sakurach! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakurach smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Prower. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sakurach is trying to break the clinch but Prower has him pressed against the cage. Prower has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sakurach regains guard immediately. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sakurach is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Prower trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Prower would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sakurach keeping full guard, as Prower tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sakurach scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sakurach avoids the head kick by Prower.
Nice sprawl there from Sakurach as Prower shoots in. Prower on the wrong end of a nice hook. Prower takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sakurach bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Prower shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sakurach as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Prower. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sakurach dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prower. That did some damage! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Prower walks into a jab. Prower with a lazy takedown attempt and Sakurach connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sakurach is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Prower with a lazy takedown attempt and Sakurach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prower closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Prower is breathing heavily. Sakurach is trying to stand up here but Prower is controlling him well. Sakurach is staying active underneath Prower, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sakurach is trying to stand.
Prower is looking for a kimura but Sakurach is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Prower to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prower is working for a submission of some sort.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sakurach can do anything to dispel that myth. Prower tries to pass to full mount but Sakurach defends it. Sakurach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prower. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prower is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prower maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sakurach could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Prower has cracked it and Sakurach is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Prower!
