Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Cartman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Montgomery! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montgomery checks a leg kick. Montgomery looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cartman! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Montgomery is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cartman's shoulder. That is not cool. Montgomery tries for a kimura but Cartman is defending well. Cartman keeping his opponent close. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Montgomery decides to stand back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Montgomery. Cartman struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartman bucks up and tries to throw Montgomery off but instead Montgomery has got his back! Cartman manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Montgomery scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cartman sneaks back into half guard. Cartman won't allow Montgomery to pass to mount. Cartman is not content to let Montgomery control the position. Montgomery is taking a breather. Cartman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cartman manages to get to full guard.
Cartman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cartman is working hard here to advance position. Montgomery trying to control the position from guard on top but Cartman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cartman wants to sweep here but Montgomery controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cartman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thomas Montgomery wasn't active enough on the ground. Montgomery connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cartman. Cartman circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Cartman gets tackled into the cage by Montgomery. Montgomery maintains the clinch. Montgomery tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cartman avoids it. Cartman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Montgomery's efforts to push away. Montgomery pulls guard. Cartman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Cartman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Montgomery really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cartman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Montgomery is trying to control the position but Cartman postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montgomery keeping full guard, as Cartman tries to pass. Cartman with a nice head shot there. Cartman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Montgomery gets tackled into the cage by Cartman. Cartman maintains the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cartman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Montgomery gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Montgomery tries to circle away but Cartman has him pinned against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Montgomery breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Montgomery throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cartman was covering up waiting for the punch and Montgomery finishes the takedown easily into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Montgomery dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cartman gets a double leg takedown into Montgomery's guard. Cartman looking to sit in guard and control but Montgomery gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cartman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Montgomery manages to get himself to full guard.
Cartman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Montgomery is keeping the position for now. Cartman stands up from guard. Let's bang! Montgomery decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartman trying to hold on to Montgomery's head to control him but Montgomery postures up.
Cartman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Montgomery is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cartman is trying is best to control the position here. Montgomery is stalling here. Cartman is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Montgomery seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cartman has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Cartman decides to take the fight back to the feet. Montgomery tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cartman throws a sloppy head kick and Montgomery moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montgomery changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cartman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Cartman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cartman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montgomery wants to work for an arm triangle but Cartman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Montgomery is breathing heavily. Cartman tries to roll over but Montgomery keeps him under control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montgomery stalling away here and it's allowed Cartman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cartman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Montgomery looking to score a takedown here. Cartman is defending well but Montgomery drives through and ends up in Cartman's guard. Cartman wants to stand up but Montgomery is controlling him. Cartman will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Montgomery must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cartman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cartman is looking for a triangle but Montgomery pushes his legs off easily.
Cartman is striking but Montgomery is not phased and passes to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montgomery frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cartman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Cartman wants to control from the top but Montgomery keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Montgomery throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Cartman postures up in Montgomery's guard and throws a big left but Montgomery blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Cartman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Montgomery throws a sloppy head kick and Cartman moves out of range easily. Montgomery fails in his attempt to clinch. Cartman dives in and grabs Montgomery's left leg, looking for a takedown. Montgomery pushes down on Cartman's head and hops out. Cartman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Montgomery's half guard. Cartman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Montgomery looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cartman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Montgomery is looking for a sweep. Cartman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartman drops an elbow to the side of Montgomery's head. Cartman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Montgomery is not content to let Cartman control the position. Cartman seems to be working for a kimura but Montgomery defends the submission attempt. Cartman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montgomery is looking to control Cartman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Montgomery avoid being mounted? Cartman wants to stand up but Montgomery has a hold of him and won't allow it. Montgomery is controlling Cartman's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cartman is trying to control. Montgomery wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Montgomery is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Cartman jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cartman stands up and we're back to a striking position. Montgomery takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Montgomery digs a good hook to Cartman's body.
Montgomery manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cartman on his heels. He'll look to pass Cartman's guard now, I'm sure. Montgomery wants to control from the top but Cartman keeps moving. Cartman lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Cartman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Montgomery doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Montgomery manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cartman keeping moving, preventing Montgomery from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montgomery is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cartman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cartman has escaped and now he's on top! Cartman landing some decent shots from guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cartman trying to control the position from guard on top but Montgomery is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Montgomery keeping full guard, as Cartman tries to pass.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Cartman showed his dominance in that final round. I think Cartman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
