Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Belloti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Laguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belloti comes to the cage accompanied by Nego Drama. Laguera has chosen Rev Theory - Hell Yeah as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laguera misses with a body shot.
Laguera has closed the distance and engaged Belloti in a clinch.
Laguera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laguera. Belloti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laguera feints and as Belloti raises his hands in defense, Laguera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Belloti really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alexei Laguera hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Laguera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Laguera throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Laguera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Belloti was covering up waiting for the punch and Laguera finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belloti has a closed guard, preventing Laguera from standing up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alexei Laguera was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Belloti misses with a takedown attempt - Laguera sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Laguera.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Laguera is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Belloti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laguera as he avoids it easily.
Laguera tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Belloti defends well and Laguera ends up having to push Belloti into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Belloti drops down looking for an ankle pick but Laguera pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Laguera counters with a crisp one two that drops Belloti! Laguera thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Belloti to his feet! Belloti is in big trouble!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Belloti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laguera lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oh Belloti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Laguera cracks Belloti with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Belloti falls to his knees and Laguera doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexei Laguera!
A very excited looking Alexei Laguera made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
