Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verde stuffs the takedown.
Reaper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reaper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Verde is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reaper, into his guard.
Reaper has his foot on Verde's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Verde works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Verde avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Verde wants to control from the top but Reaper keeps moving.
Reaper had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Verde defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reaper has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Verde should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Reaper has tightened it up now! Verde should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sid Reaper!
