The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klashkinov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Valentine napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Valentine tries to improve position but can't.
Klashkinov wants to control but Valentine is keeping him busy.
Valentine is looking for a sweep.
Klashkinov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Klashkinov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valentine keeps working.
Klashkinov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Klashkinov is trying to get an arm triangle but Valentine is defending well.

Klashkinov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Klashkinov is looking to take a break and control but Valentine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Klashkinov is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Valentine looks calm but he's in trouble here. Klashkinov gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Valentine is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Klashkinov lets go of the hold and Valentine can pop his arm back in it's socket.
