Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron Ray acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rod Boone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cameron Ray! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Ray. Boone does a little dance to reset his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Boone enables Ray to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ray's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Boone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ray gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ray shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boone as he jumps to the side. Ray lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ray gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Boone pulls Ray into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Boone keeping full guard, as Ray tries to pass. Boone could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ray trying to control the position from guard on top but Boone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boone keeping full guard, as Ray tries to pass. Ray is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ray preventing the sweep. Ray is pushing down on Boone's leg trying to pass to half guard. Boone is fighting to maintain full guard but Ray has managed to sneak the leg through. Boone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boone wants to stand up but Ray is controlling him. Ray wants to control from the top but Boone keeps moving. Ray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boone wants to sweep here but Ray controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray trying to control the position from guard on top but Boone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ray fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Boone tries to clinch there but Ray circles away.
Boone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ray defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ray is just riding it out for now. Boone eventually gives up the hold. Ray tries to kick Boone off but Boone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Boone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boone content to control rather than advance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boone prevents Ray from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cameron Ray dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ray gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boone counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ray! Ray tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boone works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Boone working away. Boone is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ray will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Boone in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Boone scores with a couple of short elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Boone working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boone cracks Ray with a big right hand but Ray just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Boone decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ray to his feet. Ray shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ray has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boone is working away from the top position though. Ray is breathing heavily. Boone prevents Ray from improving his position. Boone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ray with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Boone slows the pace down in half guard. Boone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boone is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Boone decides to stand and escape the position. Ray forces Boone back against the cage and clinches. Boone pulls guard successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ray manages to get himself to full guard.
Ray controls Boone momentarily but Boone frees himself. Boone distracts Ray with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Boone gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ray goes for a double leg but Boone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boone continues to drive forward. Rod Boone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Ray. Boone turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boone manages to end up in side control. Ray struggling a bit here. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. Ray seems a little lost for a moment, as Boone dominates the positioning. Boone prevents Ray from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boone has hold of Ray's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ray seems comfortable defending it but Boone has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ray is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ray is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Boone couldn't care less - he's delighted!
