0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Walters! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walters throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dingley's waist but Dingley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walters off to one side. Walters misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jon Walters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Dingley does no damage. Walters falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dingley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Walters avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dingley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walters looking to sit in guard and control but Dingley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dingley wants to get up but he can't break Walters's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dingley stands and steps away. Walters gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
