Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrann Mathieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrann Mathieu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathieu just misses with a punch to the body.
Mathieu scores with a shot to the body.
Mathieu shoots for a double leg takedown but Bradshaw sprawls well. He's pushed Mathieu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mathieu moves in looking to clinch but Bradshaw pushes him off.
Bradshaw really is a fat lump.
Mathieu misses with a straight right.
Bradshaw tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mathieu misses with a takedown attempt
and Bradshaw counters with a single leg into guard. Mathieu didn't expect that.

Bradshaw has hold of Mathieu's hands but Mathieu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mathieu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bradshaw's guard.

Mathieu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bradshaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mathieu, into his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mathieu is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown by Mathieu or perhaps it was just good defense by Bradshaw which made him look bad.
Johnathon Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrann Mathieu.

Bradshaw escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mathieu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bradshaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bradshaw wants to sweep here but Mathieu controlling him for the moment.

Bradshaw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mathieu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mathieu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bradshaw is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mathieu is aware though and is defending well.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Bradshaw is not content to let Mathieu control the position.
Tyrann Mathieu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Bradshaw gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Mathieu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bradshaw takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Mathieu's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
