Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kantaro Soji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Oscar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kantaro Soji looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kantaro Soji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Oscar! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oscar misses with a head kick.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Nice takedown defense from Oscar. No joy for Soji on that attempt. Oscar moves into the clinch successfully.
Knees to the body from Oscar.
Oscar breaks the clinch.
Oscar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Soji keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oscar trying to mount his opponent but Soji defends it. Well, if Oscar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oscar wants to pass the guard but Soji is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oscar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Oscar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Soji knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Oscar is keen to just control but Soji is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Soji avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oscar fails with the takedown and Soji decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Oscar's guard. Oscar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Soji would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Oscar throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oscar pulls Soji in close to his closed guard and prevents Soji from doing any damage or advancing position. Oscar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Oscar dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Soji takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oscar shoots in and bounces Soji off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Soji scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kantaro Soji is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Oscar throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oscar clinches with his opponent.
A short right from Oscar on the inside. Oscar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oscar scores with a kick to the body.
A head kick by Oscar misses and Soji counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Oscar controls Soji momentarily but Soji frees himself. Oscar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Soji kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oscar wants to get back to his feet but Soji is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Soji stopping the sweep attempt from Oscar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soji being controlled here momentarily. Oscar looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Oscar throws a leg kick and Soji counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oscar won't be happy with that. Soji has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Oscar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Oscar wants to stand but Soji has his arm trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kantaro Soji will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Oscar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Soji's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soji is looking to stand up but Oscar isn't so interested in that idea. Oscar looking to sit in guard and control but Soji gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Oscar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oscar wants to get back to his feet but Soji passes into half guard.
Oscar is trying to maintain the position but Soji is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Oscar looks like he's trying to stand up.
Oscar moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Soji postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soji being controlled here momentarily. Soji would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Oscar looking for a sweep. Not yet Oscar, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Oscar throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Soji stands up from guard. Let's bang! Soji gets caught flat footed, as Oscar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Oscar throwing strikes from guard but Soji blocks nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oscar stops Soji from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! George Oscar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Oscar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
