Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between freeman hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zac Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). freeman hall has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, freeman hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zac Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vaughn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vaughn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
hall has given up his back here.
hall can't escape the position.
hall tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
hall is wriggling around trying to escape.
hall tries to hold on but Vaughn postures up.

Vaughn looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
hall wants to control but Vaughn is having none of it.
hall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

hall is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Vaughn tries to control but hall wriggling away.

Vaughn is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Zac Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vaughn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

hall is looking to improve his position but Vaughn isn't that keen on the idea.
Vaughn looking to ground and pound but hall is blocking nicely.

hall tries to hold on but Vaughn pushes him away.
Vaughn unloads with some shots from mount but hall bucks and avoids them well.
hall tries to lock up and control but Vaughn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
hall tries to lock up and control but Vaughn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

hall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Vaughn rushes hall and presses him up against the cage.

Vaughn gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Vaughn trying to control the position from guard on top but hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
hall is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vaughn wants to control from the top but hall keeps moving.
hall wants to get back to his feet but Vaughn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

hall looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Vaughn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Vaughn trying to control but hall is working from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
hall tries to clinch there but Vaughn circles away.
hall doesn't manage to clinch there - Vaughn circles away.

Vaughn closes the distance and clinches.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A short left from Vaughn.

Vaughn pulls hall into guard.
hall looking to pass the guard.
hall stopping the sweep attempt from Vaughn.
Vaughn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
hall trying to control but Vaughn is working from the bottom.
hall passes Vaughn's left leg - he's now in half guard.

hall wants to control but Vaughn is keeping him busy.
hall passes to side control.
Vaughn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Vaughn is breathing heavily.
hall is looking to take a break and control but Vaughn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
hall slows the pace down in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
hall wants to take a breather but Vaughn is having none of it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zac Vaughn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Vaughn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts hall as he jumps to the side.
Vaughn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vaughn thows a body shot but no joy.
hall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Vaughn takes the fight into the clinch.
Vaughn prevents hall from breaking the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vaughn goes for a takedown in the clinch but hall prevents it.

Vaughn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vaughn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
hall swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Vaughn cracks hall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
freeman hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Vaughn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
hall gets back to half guard.
hall is trying to stand back up but Vaughn is controlling him

hall regains full guard. Nicely done.
hall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vaughn!
hall avoids the attempt from Vaughn to control.

hall tries to control but Vaughn wriggling away.

hall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vaughn is looking to escape.
Vaughn is trying to escape the mount.

Vaughn wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Vaughn avoids the strikes from hall.

Vaughn prevents hall from getting a body triangle.
Vaughn rolls, trying to escape but hall keeps control of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

hall working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
hall wants to control the position but Vaughn frees himself and scrambles - hall manages to regain control in side control.
freeman hall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
hall moves out of range of the body kick.
hall throws a leg kick but Vaughn sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
hall looks to land a combination but Vaughn avoids it well.
Vaughn dodges the punch combination from hall.

Vaughn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. hall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zac Vaughn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vaughn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
