Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thor's choice of entrance music: Boom - P.O.D. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelly Richardson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathan Thor! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richardson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Richardson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thor. Richardson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Thor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richardson's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Richardson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Thor is fighting to break Richardson's control of his arms but Richardson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Richardson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Thor scoring with some ground and pound. Thor wants to pass the guard but Richardson is keeping the position. Thor lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Thor looking to pass the guard. Richardson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Thor is desperately trying to improve his position but Richardson has a good base and remains in mount. Richardson wants to take Thor's back but he can't do it this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thor tries to hold on but Richardson postures up. Richardson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A leg kick checked by Richardson. Thor swings away with a leg kick that misses. Thor throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Thor shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Richardson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Thor throws a big right hand that misses. My spies in Ford Lane Fight Factory inform me that Thor has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Thor controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Thor with a flurry of punches that miss. Thor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Thor is looking to work some ground and pound but Richardson has wrist control. Thor postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Richardson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Thor pushes down on Richardson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Thor throwing shots but Richardson is blocking nicely. Richardson is looking for a sweep. Thor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Thor lands strikes from half guard. Thor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thor is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Richardson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thor. Richardson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Richardson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richardson has a closed guard, preventing Thor from standing up. Thor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Richardson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Thor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Richardson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Thor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Richardson is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thor wants to control from the top but Richardson keeps moving. Thor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jonathan Thor. Nice cross by Thor. A thudding body kick lands there by Thor!
Richardson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Both fighters circling a little - Thor finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kelly Richardson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thor feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Richardson's calf. Thor works the jab nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonathan Thor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Richardson misses with a looping right. Thor rushes Richardson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Richardson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Thor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thor throws a nice outside leg kick. Thor scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Richardson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richardson's guard. Thor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richardson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thor has Richardson in his guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richardson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thor swivels though and keeps the full guard. Richardson advances to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Richardson in particular looking to stall. Richardson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thor sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thor wants to control but Richardson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Richardson looks to land a strike but Thor avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Richardson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Richardson wants to control but Thor is keeping him busy. Richardson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Thor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Richardson is working away from the top position though. Richardson is working for a submission of some sort.

Jonathan Thor has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Richardson moves out of range as Thor throws a body kick.
Thor will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thor lands with a straight right. Richardson didn't see that one coming. Thor clinches up with Richardson and pushes him back against the cage. Richardson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Thor clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
And that's the end of the fight! Jonathan Thor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
