Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Levchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Tags (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Levchenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zelenoglazoe Taksi. Tags has chosen Dwarf Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Artur Levchenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Tags!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levchenko digs a good body shot into Tags's ribs.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Levchenko scores with a hook.
Levchenko looks to throw a body kick
and Tags counters with a good low kick that Levchenko was not able to check.
Levchenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Levchenko throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Levchenko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tags throws a half hearted mid kick.
A big right from Levchenko misses.
Levchenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Levchenko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tags closes this distance looking for a takedown but Levchenko circles away.

Levchenko connects with a right hand. Tags shakes it off.
Tags uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Levchenko.
Tags shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Levchenko as he avoids it easily.
Levchenko throws a hook to the side of Tags's head but Tags sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tags tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Levchenko defends well and Tags ends up having to push Levchenko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Artur Levchenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Tags.

Tags will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Levchenko up against the cage.

Tags throws a punch but it's blocked by Levchenko.
A short right from Tags on the inside.
Levchenko wants to break free but Tags has control.
Tags pushes Levchenko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Levchenko tries to circle away but Tags has him pinned against the cage.
Levchenko misses with some punches.
Levchenko stalling.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tags.
A nice right hand lands inside from Levchenko.
Levchenko tries to stall but Tags uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Levchenko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tags has him pressed against the cage.

Levchenko breaks from the clinch.
Good leg kick by Levchenko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Tags counters with a head kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tags moves out of range as Levchenko strikes.
Levchenko looks to throw the jab but Tags is out of range.
Tags misses with a head kick.
Tags dives in for a single leg takedown but Levchenko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Tags tries to throw a body punch but Levchenko avoids it by throwing Tags back against the cage.
Tags misses with a hook from the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Levchenko can't find room to land a body shot as Tags controls the action.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tags tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Levchenko's elbow.
Tags misses with a punch to the body.
The referee is keeping an eye on Levchenko - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Levchenko lands a shoulder strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Levchenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Levchenko misses with a series of wild punches.
Levchenko misses with a low kick.
Tags is looking to clinch but Levchenko is avoiding it.
Levchenko misses with a looping right.
Levchenko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Levchenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tags was well out of range. Poor timing from Levchenko.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tags.

Levchenko is looking to score with low kicks.
Levchenko throws a jab when Tags was well out of range.
Levchenko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tags shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Levchenko as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Levchenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Levchenko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tags shoots for a takedown but Levchenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Levchenko scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Levchenko lands a left and a right that send Tags crashing to the mat, dazed. Levchenko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Jim Tags has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice takedown defense from Levchenko. No joy for Tags on that attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Levchenko misses the target.

Tags throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Levchenko was covering up waiting for the punch and Tags finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Levchenko looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Tags looking to pass the guard.
Tags throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Levchenko works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tags wants to pass the guard but Levchenko is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tags postures up.

We're going to have a standup here because Artur Levchenko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Levchenko looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Tags fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Levchenko digs a good hook to Tags's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Levchenko throws a push kick but Tags slaps the foot to one side.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Tags moves in looking to clinch but Levchenko pushes him off.

Tags changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Levchenko tries to avoid it but Tags manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Levchenko to the ground. Levchenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Levchenko throws an off balance right hand

and Tags holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Levchenko tries to land a knee to the head but Tags blocks with his arms.
Levchenko working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Tags misses with a short punch on the inside.

Levchenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Levchenko misses the shot to the body.
Levchenko throws a head kick that misses.
Levchenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tags manages to avoid it.
Tags tries to score a power double leg takedown but Levchenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tags somewhat.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Levchenko here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Tags shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tags perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jim Tags has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tags wants to take a breather but Levchenko is having none of it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tags is trying to control. Levchenko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jim Tags has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Levchenko misses with a right hand

and Tags counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tags.
Tags can't find room to land a body shot as Levchenko controls the action.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tags.
Tags keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Levchenko's efforts to push away.

Levchenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tags shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Levchenko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Tags trying to control the position from guard on top but Levchenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tags pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Levchenko is keeping the position for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tags shoots in for a takedown but Levchenko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jim Tags.
I think Levchenko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
