The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diaz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forever swivels and escapes.
Forever fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches up with Forever, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes Forever against the cage but Forever circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Forever's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Forever is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Forever has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rodrigo Diaz.
