Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Avery Paul!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiner looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Paul takes one to the side of the head.
Weiner staying out of range there.
Paul slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Weiner with a nice cross.
Weiner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Paul has time to react.
Paul jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Weiner lands with a right hand.
Weiner fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paul bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Weiner's head backwards.
Weiner throws a jab when Paul was well out of range.
Paul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weiner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Paul throws a leg kick
and Weiner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Paul misses with an uppercut
and Weiner counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Paul swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paul drives through and clinches with Weiner against the cage.

Weiner manages to break the clinch.
Paul throws a leg kick but Weiner sees it coming and moves out of range.
Weiner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Paul is rocked!
Paul waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Weiner.
Paul is still on wobbly legs! Can Weiner finish him?
Paul lands the left hand.
Paul takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Weiner lunges at Paul with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Paul's hand.
Weiner lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paul throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Weiner scores with a counter punch that sends Paul to the canvas! Weiner smells blood - he's punishing Paul with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Paul has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Weiner!
A relieved looking Alexander Weiner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
