Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Parp Cannon goes down! Can Ivey finish him!?
Ivey looking to sit in guard and control but Parp Cannon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Parp Cannon drops back looking for a leg! Ivey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ivey manages to kick Parp Cannon off! Parp Cannon jumps back into Ivey's guard.
Parp Cannon tries to free his leg and advance position but Ivey is retaining full guard.

Parp Cannon stays in close to Ivey's body and controls the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Parp Cannon wants to clinch.
Parp Cannon thows a body kick. Ivey tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ivey blocks a leg kick.
Parp Cannon misses with a kick to the body.
Ivey lands a left and a right that sends Parp Cannon crashing to the canvas! Ivey dives into mount looking to finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parp Cannon wants to hold on but Ivey pushes him away.
Oh Parp Cannon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parp Cannon is looking to get to half guard.
Parp Cannon seems to have got his legs back now.

Ivey controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parp Cannon is wriggling around trying to escape.

Parp Cannon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Parp Cannon is working to get back to half guard.
Ivey tries to control but Parp Cannon wriggling away.
Parp Cannon slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Parp Cannon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Ivey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Parp Cannon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ivey trying to control the position from guard on top but Parp Cannon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ivey is looking to stand up but Parp Cannon won't let him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Matt Ivey dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ivey can do anything to dispel that myth.

Parp Cannon stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Ivey tries to bum rush Parp Cannon with a series of wild strikes but Parp Cannon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Parp Cannon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ivey.

Parp Cannon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parp Cannon connects with a high kick.
Parp Cannon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ivey's waist but Ivey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Parp Cannon off to one side.
Matt Ivey seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Parp Cannon doesn't manage to clinch there - Ivey circles away.
A head kick misses from Parp Cannon.
Ivey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ivey attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Ivey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parp Cannon's waist but Parp Cannon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ivey off to one side.

Ivey's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Ivey takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Parp Cannon throws a push kick but Ivey slaps the foot to one side.

Ivey gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Parp Cannon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ivey really felt that one!

Daniel Parp Cannon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ivey fails to land the takedown.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Parp Cannon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Ivey tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Parp Cannon.

Ivey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Parp Cannon can pounce on him.

Ivey closes the distance and clinches up with Parp Cannon, looking for a takedown. Ivey pushes Parp Cannon against the cage but Parp Cannon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ivey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ivey walks forward, straight into a front kick from Parp Cannon.

Ivey tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ivey stuffs the takedown attempt from Parp Cannon. Parp Cannon gets slowly back to his feet.

Parp Cannon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Daniel Parp Cannon showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Parp Cannon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
