The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Villamora. Beautiful body shot.
El Angel swings widly with a right hand
and Villamora connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
El Angel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Villamora doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Villamora manages to break the clinch.
El Angel is looking to clinch.
Villamora swats away the attempt to clinch by El Angel.

Villamora stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Ernesto El Angel has been cut.
Villamora connects with a good right hand that stumbles El Angel. El Angel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Villamora tests El Angel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Villamora has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as El Angel is landing a low percentage of strikes.
El Angel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Villamora connects with a body shot.
Villamora scores with a punch to the head.

El Angel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
El Angel tries to close the distance and clinch but Villamora swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Villamora closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops El Angel! Villamora dives in looking to finish! El Angel is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carrera Villamora!
Carrera Villamora looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Couldn't fuck around with this princess so I just smashed it.'.
