2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jedrzej Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kowalski or perhaps it was just good defense by Falicei, which made it look bad. No luck for Kowalski with that takedown attempt. Jedrzej Kowalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kowalski. Nicko Falicei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jedrzej Kowalski. Kowalski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Falicei slaps away a takedown attempt from Kowalski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kowalski throws a shot from downtown. Falicei moves away and avoids it. Falicei throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Falicei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kowalski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kowalski looks winded! Nice shot by Falicei. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kowalski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Jedrzej Kowalski has been cut. A cross from Falicei lands. Falicei closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kowalski! Falicei dives in looking to finish! Kowalski is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nicko Falicei!
