Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrious Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by I'm A Soldier. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Brooks dives in for a single leg takedown but Johnson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Johnson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Brooks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brooks's waist but Brooks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

and Johnson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joseph Brooks.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
