Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slick Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.
Drake wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.

Johnson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drake slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Drake tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Drake has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Drake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A close round but Slick Johnson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Drake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Drake looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Drake persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

and Drake counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.
Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Drake has his hands clasped together but Johnson extends an breaks Drake's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Johnson.
