Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jere Stephens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Inclan!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephens swinging wildly here.
Inclan moves in looking to clinch but Stephens pushes him off.
Stephens has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Finland in the buildup to the fight.
Inclan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stephens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Inclan fails in his attempt to clinch.

Stephens looking to score a takedown here. Inclan is defending well but Stephens drives through and ends up in Inclan's guard.
Stephens has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Inclan is proving hard to escape from.

Stephens gets to his feet - Inclan follows without any prompting.
Inclan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Inclan shoots for a takedown but Stephens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stephens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Stephens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Inclan shoots in but no luck this time.

Inclan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stephens sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Stephens throws a series of punches but Inclan avoids them all with ease.

Stephens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Inclan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stephens pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Inclan back to the cage. Stephens follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Stephens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stephens misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Inclan with that takedown attempt.
Inclan tries to close the distance and clinch but Stephens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stephens slaps away a takedown attempt from Inclan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stephens closes the distance and lands a one-two.

and Inclan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Inclan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Inclan shoots for a double leg takedown but Stephens sprawls well. He's pushed Inclan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Inclan fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Stephens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Inclan lands a big head kick that sends Stephens tumbling to the mat! Inclan takes a step backwards and waves Stephens back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Stephens is rocked!


It looks like Jere Stephens has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Inclan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Stephens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stephens tries to bum rush Inclan with a series of wild strikes but Inclan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Inclan thumps Stephens with a low kick.
Inclan lands a big head kick that sends Stephens to the canvas! Inclan follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafael Inclan!
