Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Weller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Pheonix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tristan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Weller!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Weller misses the target.
Weller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Weller misses with a head kick.
Weller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Weller misses with a takedown
and Lee counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Weller!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lee just content to control the position.
Weller is trying to get back to half guard.
Weller is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lee trying to control from half guard but Weller is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee is thwarting Weller's attempts to control the position.
Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Weller kicks off Lee and gets to his feet.
Weller shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Weller wants to clinch.
Weller throws a leg kick but Lee moved away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weller fails with a takedown attempt.
Tristan Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Weller.
Weller moves to clinch but Lee breaks away
and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lee trying to control but Weller is working from the bottom.
Weller wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Weller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Tristan Lee wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lee moves out of range of the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Weller moves to clinch but Lee breaks away
and Lee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Weller missing with punches from the bottom.
Lee is trying for a kimura here. Weller looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lee wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tristan Lee!
