Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LePew uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hopkins.
Hopkins tests LePew's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hopkins misses with a wild combination.
Hopkins fakes a jab and throws a low kick but LePew checks it well.
Hopkins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hopkins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hopkins shoots in and bounces LePew off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
LePew escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hopkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins wants to pass the guard but LePew is keeping the position.
Hopkins lying in LePew's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. LePew decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Hopkins taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
