Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seymour Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, sk ks!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reilly gets tackled into the cage by ks. ks maintains the clinch.

ks jumps guard and drags Reilly to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Reilly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reilly postures up.
ks lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Reilly wants to stand and escape but ks is having none of it.

ks trying to stand up but can't free himself from Reilly's guard.
Reilly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for ks on the ground.
ks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reilly is keeping the position for now.
Reilly tries to strike from the bottom.
Reilly throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
ks throwing strikes from guard but Reilly blocks nicely.
ks wants to stand but Reilly has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Reilly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
ks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
ks wants to control from the top but Reilly keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. sk ks hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

ks clinches up with Reilly and pushes him back against the cage.
Reilly has had enough of the clinch but ks keeps him there for the moment.

Reilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and ks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reilly won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reilly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

ks content to control rather than advance.

ks is taking a breather. Reilly says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Reilly has taken the fight to the clinch.
Reilly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reilly gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
ks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reilly is one step ahead there.
ks wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Reilly is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Reilly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
ks tries to clinch up but Reilly circles away and keeps his distance.

ks shoots in and bounces Reilly off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Reilly is looking to stand up but ks isn't so interested in that idea.

ks tries to move into full mount but can't pass Reilly's legs.
ks wants to stand but Reilly has his arm trapped.

Reilly manages to reverse the position and now he's in ks's guard. Nice work there by Reilly.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by sk ks.

ks has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Reilly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reilly is trying to stand back up.

sk ks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

ks wants to stand but Reilly is controlling the position.
ks trying to keep a closed guard but Reilly is proving a slippery customer.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Reilly enables ks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reilly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ks postures up and lands a big shot to Reilly's brow.
ks advances to half guard.
ks blocks the strikes from Reilly.
Reilly tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Reilly tries to get to full guard but ks has control of the leg.

ks is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

BOOM! ks connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Reilly is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
ks controlling his opponent.

ks has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reilly's face.
ks tries to control but Reilly wriggling away.
ks thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Reilly wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

ks has his opponent's back but Reilly is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off ks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

sk ks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
