Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Beever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewey Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beever comes into the arena with Surprise! blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dewey Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beever tries to close the distance and clinch but Cooper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Beever rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cooper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cooper moves into the clinch.
Beever tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Beever is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cooper is defending well for now.
Cooper lands a left hand that snaps the head of Beever backwards.
A body shot lands from Cooper.
Cooper cracks Beever with a nice body shot.
Beever is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cooper manages to break the clinch.
Cooper lands a jab to the nose.

Cooper forces Beever back against the cage and clinches.
Cooper lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Cooper lands a body shot.
A right handed body shot lands from Cooper.
Cooper lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Beever backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Cooper.

Cooper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beever showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cooper.
Cooper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beever circles away quickly and effectively.
Beever tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch combination from Cooper misses.
Beever wants to clinch up but Cooper keeps it at a distance.

Cooper moves into range and clinches up with Beever.
Beever takes a shot to the head.

Cooper breaks the clinch.
Cooper goes for a small jab and connects. Now Cooper goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Beever stumbles back but Cooper runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Beever to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Beever will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dewey Cooper!
Dudley Beever was interviewed post fight and said 'Damit... I thought we have it... Good fight! This time you got me, but next is on me!'.
