Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Blake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bam Pow! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blake fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pow to the ground. Blake is now in Pow's guard. Blake has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blake is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blake trying to move into half guard but instead Pow has managed to sweep! Blake has an active guard here but Pow has managed to pass into half guard.
Blake is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake trying to get back to full guard but Pow takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Blake can't escape the position.

Blake needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Blake tries to escape the position.

Blake trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Blake tries to escape but Pow has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pow's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Blake's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Blake trying to control the hands but Pow breaks the grip. Blake tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Blake tries to get back to half guard but can't. Blake tries to hold on but Pow pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blake tries to reverse the position but Pow maintains control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Blake dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blake drives through with a takedown into guard. Blake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pow swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blake slips nicely into half guard. Blake is trying to control the action in half guard but Pow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Blake keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Blake is trying to control the action in half guard but Pow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Blake controlling the action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
William Blake has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Blake looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Blake is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
William Blake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Blake controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Blake is looking to take a break and control but Pow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of William Blake. Blake scores with a takedown into Pow's guard. Blake stays in close to Pow's body and controls the position. Blake wants to control from the top but Pow keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blake postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Blake showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because William Blake wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Blake shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pow napping and manages to drive through into side control! Blake goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Pow rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Blake's guard! Nice work there by Pow! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Blake has an active guard here but Pow has managed to pass into half guard.

William Blake dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Blake looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pow! Blake swings around for an armbar but Pow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Blake's guard. Blake looking to control.
Blake tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pow defends well. Blake is controlling Pow's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake trying to keep a closed guard but Pow is proving a slippery customer.
Pow wants to control from the top but Blake keeps moving. Blake is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Blake tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blake is trying to control the position but Pow postures up.
William Blake has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Blake throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Blake is in Pow's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blake looking to pass the guard. Pow wants to stand up but Blake is controlling him. Blake is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Blake is looking to advance position but Pow has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Blake is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. William Blake is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Blake tries to lock up and control but Pow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Blake can't escape the position.
Pow wants to stand but Blake is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Blake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blake tries to get out of the position. Pow is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pow prevents Blake from moving into mount. Blake throwing shots but missing, from side control. Blake creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pow sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Blake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pow can do to turn this around? Pow prevents Blake from moving into mount. Pow is being controlled here. Bam Pow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Blake wants to control but Pow is keeping him busy. This has been an exciting period of action! Blake tries to move to mount but Pow blocks the move with his legs.
And that's the end of the fight! William Blake showed his dominance in that final round. Well Blake has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
